In
the summer months there is a passenger ferry to Helford Passage on the north
bank of the river where you will find The Ferryboat Inn and
nearby the gardens of Trebah
and Glendurgan.
There are delightful beaches and creeks and many wonderful walks. The

Creek enalbling you to get to the lovely Tremayne Quay, perfect for an evening
drink or barbecue preferably by boat. There are also a large number of woodland
walks.

on The Helford River is diverse and during many months of the year you will
share the peace and tranquility with egrets, herons, kingfishers, curlews,
cormorants, swans and waders. There is an information basket and book in the
house and many of the local sights, gardens and places of interest are to
be found there. These include The
Tate Gallery at St Ives, The
Goonhilly Satellite Tracking Station, The
Minack Theatre, The
National Maritime Museum in Falmouth and many more. The
Lost Gardens of Heligan and The
Eden Project are also relatively close.

are two good tennis courts at Manaccan that can be used for a small charge.

a number of Cornish
Golf Courses

Budock Vean Hotel also has a course as does Falmouth.
